Kruger National Park
Overview
The world-renowned wilderness reserve is South Africa’s largest national park, with nearly 2 million hectares of unrivaled diversity of wildlife, fusing with history and archaeological sights. The wildlife boasts as one of the handpicked wildlife sanctuaries on the planet in which the big 5 and more mammal species roam freely than in any other game reserve or national park across the African continent. Within Kruger National Park, lies several Private Game Reserve, bordering the Kruger which are equally world-renowned including Sabi Sand, Londonzi, Kariega, Inyati, MalaMala and others.
The specially designated luxury lodges offer comfort-with exceptional cuisines, magnificent game viewing opportunities and most thought after hospitality whilst as you immerse yourself into a discovery and appreciate this wild rich sanctuary. A board a flight lasting for one-hour from Johannesburg International Airport gets you to Kruger’s Mpumalanga International Airport (KMIA) adjacent to the park periphery. There are daily flights between the two airports and safari bus shuttles between KMIA and Skukuza Camp are thoughtfully splendid.
Sports lovers passionate about golf can embark on a self treat with a few rounds at Skukuza Golf Course within Kruger National Park. Skukuza Golf Course is the only Kruger Park golf course located in the park itself. A 72par, nine-hole, 18-tee course on the road to Paul Kruger Gate, built originally in 1972, and now open to the public.
Why specially visit Kruger National Park. Skukuza Golf Course is close to this wild sanctuary with the beautiful bushveld trees, wonderful bird life and views over Lake Panic. The course is not fenced and a round of golf often provides wildlife sightings.
