(b). Travel medical and health notices
i). Routine vaccines. Routine vaccinations protect you from infectious diseases that can spread quickly in groups of unvaccinated people. Many diseases prevented by routine vaccination are not common in the United States and Europe but may still be existing in other countries. Make sure you and your little loved ones (children) are up to date on routine vaccines before every trip especially if you also intend to travel with young children. These vaccines include measles-mumps-rubella (MMR) vaccine, diphtheria-tetanus-pertussis vaccine, varicella (chickenpox) vaccine, polio vaccine, and your yearly flu shot. Check for updates way ahead and in advance on the CDC website.
ii). Yellow fever vaccine. Entry into some of the eight (8) destinations (Uganda, Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania, Botswana, South Africa, Zambia and Madagascar requires presentation of a yellow Fever card that is issued upon receiving the injection. If you are from the United States (USA) and have not received the injection yet, it is currently limited and if you need to be vaccinated before your trip, you may need to travel some distance and schedule your appointment well in advance before your travel date. Please kindly visit their website for more attention as to which destinations/countries require compulsory yellow fever vaccination or else inquire from our travel specialist team to be sure. This service is equally available at most International Airports and other entry points for all the destinations we operate at a charge of US $ 50.
iii). Most travel vaccines. Get travel vaccines and medicines because there is a risk of tropical diseases like Malaria in the countries that you will be visiting. Please do visit Centres for Disease Control (CDC) website: Centres for Disease Control for updates about any other new emergencies that you should be aware before your travel date.
