Overview

Stretching on the boundary of Northern-Kenyan, sprawling from the hills of Mount Kenya to the edge of the renowned Great Rift Valley, is the untouched Laikipia wilderness area. Laikipia is home to one of the highest diversity of mammals in Africa with a series of private conservancies and ranches. The whole area spans nearly a million acres of beautiful and unique landscapes.

Vast open plains in the shadow of the snow-capped Mount Kenya create a tranquil and secluded setting, where game drives encounter wildlife including the threatened species of mammals including the Grevy’s zebra, Reticulated giraffe, Beisa oryx, zorilla, striped hyena, aardwolf, wild dog, and even rarest melanistic (black) leopard with few other vehicles in sight.
