Overview

The game drives at Sabi-Sabi Nature Reserve are authentic, away from the imagination boasted by the shared fenceless border with the renowned Kruger National Park. Further setting the game reserve a cut above the rest, is the specially designed safari vehicles used by rangers, ensuring intimate game viewing opportunities as they venture off-road into the bushveld.

Discover the dense concentration of wildlife and home to the Big 5; elephant, lion, rhino, leopard, and buffalo. Cheetah, giraffe, zebra, wild dogs, and a vast variety of antelope are often closely observed, freely roaming within their own territories and game reserve is one of the rowned places in the world to get up close and personal with the elusive leopard.

The reserve provides a hot, sub-tropical climate with two distinct seasons and game viewing activities are always rewarding during both seasons; summer season (September to March), a time when many species breed, and prey is plentiful for the lurking predators. During winter season (April to August), the animals concentrate at the perennial water sources and the grass is low, making game viewing easier.

Why specially visit Sabi Sand Nature Reserve. The game drives are designed to thrill you with intimate wildlife encounters while the nights delight you with the indulgence and romance of the African wilderness night.
