Kenya and Tanzania are located on opposite sides of the equator, but the altitude often softens the impact of the climate, which is hot and dry or humid depending on the season. While shorts and a T-shirt are required during the day, a jumper and windbreaker become necessary in the evening and morning. For a successful safari, you should also bring safari clothing, walking shoes, sun cream, lip balm, mosquito repellent, a good camera with a zoom lens and binoculars.
